With the aim of making women self-reliant, special training is being given in tailoring, computer education, and beauty care under the sponsorship of the Taluk Panchayat. Certificates were distributed to the women who completed the training in a program held at the Women’s Training Center.
Speaking at the event, Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Ganesh said, “Empowering women is very important in building a strong society. The Taluk Panchayat is taking several initiatives in this regard.”
He further mentioned that in this financial year, about 1 crore rupees have been allocated for training programs to support women’s empowerment. He appreciated the efforts of the training center and staff in successfully conducting the programs. Several dignitaries were present at the event, including Taluk Panchayat staff and beneficiaries of the training programs.
