State-Level Social Service Participation Award Presented

Members of the Mahila Samaj (Women’s Association) and Mahila Sangha (Women’s Group) have received significant recognition for their outstanding contributions to community service and empowerment initiatives. The award ceremony took place during the Sangolli Rayanna Jayanti celebration organized at the Hombuja Government High School, supported by the Sangolli Rayanna Samiti, Sangolli Rayanna Yuvaka Mandala, and Pavitra Charitable Trust.
At the event, various dignitaries including Sri. K. Kalabhairava, President of the Organization, P.Y. Rajendra Prasad, Mallikarjun, Dr. Venkatesh Naik, D.B. Suresh, Smt. Geetha, and many community leaders participated and congratulated the award recipients.

Special Training for Women for Self-Employment: Ganesh

With the aim of making women self-reliant, special training is being given in tailoring, computer education, and beauty care under the sponsorship of the Taluk Panchayat. Certificates were distributed to the women who completed the training in a program held at the Women’s Training Center.
Speaking at the event, Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer Ganesh said, “Empowering women is very important in building a strong society. The Taluk Panchayat is taking several initiatives in this regard.”
He further mentioned that in this financial year, about 1 crore rupees have been allocated for training programs to support women’s empowerment. He appreciated the efforts of the training center and staff in successfully conducting the programs. Several dignitaries were present at the event, including Taluk Panchayat staff and beneficiaries of the training programs.
Koppa: Certificate Distribution Ceremony

In an event organized at the Public Charitable Trust office, certificates were distributed to women who successfully completed skill training programs. Taluk Panchayat Executive Officer K.S. Ganesh handed over the certificates.
The training, aimed at empowering women from economically weaker sections, covered tailoring, beautician training, and computer education. It was part of a self-employment scheme supported by government programs and implemented through the Public Charitable Trust.
In this initiative:
- 15 women received beautician training,
- 15 women underwent tailoring training, and
- 24 women were trained in computer education.
The training lasted for one month, and all the women received certificates upon completion.
EO Ganesh praised the efforts and said the initiative is a good step toward women’s empowerment and self-reliance. The women participants expressed gratitude for the opportunity and the knowledge they gained through the training.
